Pendas Part 1

It has been two weeks. Two weeks for not updating anything in my blogs. Now I don't know where to begin to talk about Pendas... Oh well... everything need its beginning point, so lets us begin with wikimapia.

Wikimapia can tell you every places in the world, from the broad view of the whole world and then to the most specific place that you want to know. Pendas... I personally do not know where Pendas is. But after a few landmarks, I was able to find it through wikimapia.
First, you log into wikimapia. The link is above.

After log in you will see the page above. Focus your mouse pointer to Malaysia. Under search type Pendas, and then, you will see the page like below.

The little place that has been marked in a square box and oval is called Jeti Kampung Pendas or the Jetty of Pendas Village. For our group we get on board to go to the sampling area from the opposite jetty, which is called the Fishermen Jetty Kampung Ladang (Fishermen Jetty Ladang Village). Now lets follow the direction of the arrows in the picture and it will lead you to the place that we had done our sampling.

Following the direction of the arrows, we are moving towards leftward up of the map. Johor Bahru (West Malaysia) is on the left and the Singapore is on the right. The place for sampling is at the opposite direction of the Tuas Second Link to Singapore.

Picture above shows a view from the Tuas Second Link to Singapore.

From the left we passed through lots of fishing villages and as well as mosques. On the way we also can see lot bird that has long beak catching fish by the shore.

Now going straight up we reached our sampling area, which is a place that has lots of nets with different sections, and each of the sections contains differrent kind of fish. These fish are raised in this area for dealing purpose. The water here is sea water thus fulfilled our research criteria. The chance to testify the existence of sea bacteria is higher.
